Having Fun With Photography

Member Patty Raydo, president of the Erie Photography Club, in partnership with the Girard Recreation Board, is offering a course, “Having Fun With Photography”.

Classes will be held on Mondays, 6 to 8 pm at Girard High School. The course runs from October 7-November 11, 2013.

Sign up is at the Girard High School Cafeteria, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 6 to 7 pm.

Course description: Each week, students will have the opportunity to create images that may have an artistic flair, or a whimsical look or just a fun evening of shooting pictures and learning techniques. Help and instruction is provided along the way. The goal of the class is to have each student produce an image that they would like to frame and display in their home.

Class is geared for the beginner or intermediate photographer, who has a basic understanding of how their camera functions. Students must provide a digital camera and a tripod. A camera that you are able to change settings, such as ISO, F-stops, speed and focus, would be best.

Cost is $85/person and is limited to 15 people.
